Seven - Out Now

As promised to everyone who cared about ShowUCare I uploaded the new album.. I'm not about to tell a lot about it since I just stopped working on it, so there's no story in the album..

SOME things that are interesting:

- the FIRST EVER version of My Exception's "Not Meant To Be"

- "In Her Eyes", which will be covered by My Exception ("Now You're Gone" will be covered as well!! :D)

Once again, I'm not going to tell a lot more than this.. If you liked the first ShowUCare-album you will love this one, but I suggest you guys should wait for the new My Exception album and the new Your Countdown album.. Quality in these projects is WAY higher..

Thanks for supporting ShowUCare through the last year.. The project was a nice thing for me and My Exception had a huge advantage by what I learned in this project.. I'm sorry this has to end but ShowUCare just isn't an important part to me no more..

End Of Project

Hey there!

You might just be following the things I do on my other sites and you might've seen that I started a new project, together with Kelly. I think the music Kelly & I are making is just a step beyond ShowUCare, in my opinion. Kelly's vocals are just more talented as mine and I don't feel like working on a solo-album with vocals when I got such a talented girl on board.. So from now on all my lyrics will go straight to My Exception..

I don't think someone will care :) But for everyone who does: The new SUC-album was about 90% done.. So just to let this one die in honour I'll release it anyway, somewhere this summer.. But me and Kelly will cover "In Her Eyes" (becomes "In His Eyes" offcourse) on the first ME-EP/Album :D

So sorry if SUC was something you could refer to at special moments, but this project is one out of the many that just failed.. It joins FAME, Amica, Riffshot and so many others I lost along the way..

Your Countdown and My Exception can be huge.. And those 2 projects have recently got a lot of chances to become big.. Kelly has been asked to sing the anthem for Sensation-Worldwide 2011 and Michiel's music (Your Countdown) was featured on the Sensation-Worldwide DVD from The Sensation White 2010-event "Wicked Wonderland". Your Countdown has also made an intro for The Executive their live performances and offcourse, 2 and a half weeks ago Your Countdown performed LIVE for the first time ever..

So I hope you see that this project just was on death row.. :)

But hey, SUC falls, but 2 strong independent projects rise

I'll keep you guys updated about the album (release somewhere in July is my guess..).. It's called "Seven"

Writing A Song In The Middle Of The Night

Whatever I'm doin' in the middle of the night.. Here I'm making a ShowUCare-song.. Album is pretty close to being finished :D

Album Update: Still 50% Completed..

Yeah, for one reason or another I couldn't make any good songs for the new album, but don't worry, I've started writing on a new song but with my upcoming school-assignments I can't tell you guys for sure when I can work on the album again.. But I'll keep you guys updated :)

Album Update: 50% Complete

Hey there,

I've just hit the 50% mark for the new ShowUCare-album.. Unfortunately my vacation will soon be over so I can't work as intense on the album as I could in the last week.. At some point I was making 3 different songs at the same time.. Just to get an idea..

But I think that if the inspiration keeps coming I might have the album ready by the end of this month, so that would mean it might get released in April

But that's all I know for now,

Album Update: 25% Complete

Hey there,

The new ShowUCare-album is finally beginning to get a shape.. I'm currently working on the 4th song and since I'm planning to get 16 songs or so that means that it's completed for 25% or so.. It's still way too early to talk about release dates since I'm also working on the new YC-album, but I've stopped that for the moment since me & Joni will improve the drafts I've allready made.. Maybe next monday and tuesday.. I don't know..

But until than I can write lyrics and make some new ShowUCare songs.. I hope I'm @ 50% by the end of this week, even though that might be a hard thing to get..

Anyway, the album's coming this year.. I recon it might even be here in May or June..

Announcement

Ok, just a quick post to inform you guys that I have plans for a second ShowUCare-album.. I'm allready working on a draft but for now, Your Countdown is a bit more important to me.. I think I've got everything to make an awesome album for YC, so that's why a SUC-album isn't expected in the coming months.. But I've got a few ideas so who knows..

Anyway, I'll keep you guys opdated :)
